How much do you think a college education will cost 50 years from now?
Will it only be for the Mega wealthy? Many universities increase tuition by thousands a year and claim it's inflation (yeah right) while giving themselves raises. What will happen to America's competitiveness if college education becomes unaffordable to the middle and lower class? and lastly should a college education be for those who worked hard in high school for it, or to those who made C's in school but since the are a Bush, Kennedy, Gore, Kerry, or Forbes?

Far more than it is worth, judging from the quality of graduates who I encounter today. I knew people with a high school diploma who were more intelligent and possessed far more common sense than the indoctrinated drones that graduate today. What use is a degree in parapsychology or David Beckham studies? Gay and lesbian history? Esoteric degrees such as those are useless. The only thing they equip you for is to camp out on public property and complain because you can't find a job and, at your last interview, your prospective employer laughed hysterically when they saw your major.

Back then they were taught to Read, write, and do arithmetic, now it is feel goodism, they don't care what you learn as long as your feeling don't get hurt. Also back then Christianity was in the school, now it's not. Wonder why there are so many school shootings now?

For years, Obama worked to funnel more than $50 million to anti-capitalist education projects?
For more than half a century, capitalism in the United States has taken a beating from the socialist revolution. Despite the best efforts of conservatives since the Roosevelt era, socialists have made great strides toward converting the nation to socialism. Apparently, the majority of Americans either fail to recognize the transition, or welcome it. The enthusiastic support for Barack Obama, especially among young people, is abundant evidence. Socialism, according to Karl Marx, is the transition between capitalism and communism. To achieve communism, Marx says, there must be continuing revolution in which the fundamental principal is: The end justifies the means. The Socialist Party USA believes that “capitalism is fundamentally incompatible” with socialism. For years, Obama worked in Chicago through the Annenberg Challenge, along with Bill Ayers, to funnel more than $50 million to anti-capitalist education projects. In November 2006, Ayers traveled to Venezuela to speak at Hugo Chavez’s Education Forum where he railed against “the failings of capitalist education,” and praised the “Bolivarian Revolution and the profound reforms in education made by Hugo Chavez.” And there are people who still deny Obama is a Socialist?

Lost, and you are truly lost. During the great depression we never needed bailouts to survive that, and we are not even that close to a great depression. All these bail outs have done is insure and stall the failure and have done very little to stall anything. In a Capitalistic environment there are always ups and downs.
